Our History

CEP Sales is a manufacturer’s representative firm that specializes in custom engineered products. Our company has been a family-owned and operated business for over 40 years.

Our company specializes in all types of custom metal parts - including castings, forgings, springs, and machined components, as well as a full line of industrial product identification and membrane switches. Our goal is to help customers find the optimal manufacturing process and supplier for their custom engineered parts.

Wayne & Barbara Kroemer founded Custom Engineered Parts, Inc. in Zionsville, Indiana.

1981

Wayne's son-in-law, Gary Coval, joins the company, expanding coverage into Illinois and Tennessee. CEP Sales, Inc. is born as the 2nd-generation purchases the company from the founders, Wayne & Barbara Kroemer

1994- 1995

Case Roberts joins as CEP continues their expansion with a 3rd generation of outside sales reps, expanding coverage into Georgia, Alabama, and the Carolinas

2015

Cory Hernandez, Kurt's son-in-law, joins CEP and expands coverage into Iowa and Wisconsin

2020

Abby Heneisen joins the company as the first inside marketing specialist, deepening our reach into the core manufacturing sector of the US.

2023

Barbara Schroeder, Kurt's daughter, joins the company as the new Office Manager

Wayne’s son, Bill Kroemer, joins the company, expanding coverage to Illinois.

1982

Wayne's son, Kurt Kroemer, joins the company, expanding coverage to northern Indiana

Wayne's son-in-law, Darcey Elmore joins the company, expanding coverage to Ohio, Kentucky, and southern Indiana

1984

1991

Ellen Coval and Anne Elmore, daughters of Wayne & Barbara, join the company as Office Managers

2000

Bruno Cosentino and Josh Valentine (Gary's son-in-law) join CEP as coverage expands again into Pennsylvania, New York, and Missouri

2019

2017

Zach Schroeder, Kurt's son-in-law, joins CEP and expands coverage into Michigan

CEP Sales, Inc. acquires a portion of the business of another rep firm, Rochester Marketing, based out of Tennessee
